Warranty

Every GetSmart system is delivered, installed and supported by us — and backed by a warranty that keeps covering you long after installation day.

Your warranty runs from the date your system is installed or delivered, whichever applies. The first year is provided by the manufacturer; GetSmart extends your kit cover to a full three years at no extra cost.

What is covered

Manufacturing defects and hardware faults under normal use, when the system has been installed by GetSmart or our authorised technicians. If a covered part fails, we repair or replace it at no charge to you.

What is not covered

  • Misuse, mishandling, or physical and accidental damage.
  • Installation, repair, or modification by anyone other than GetSmart or our authorised technicians.
  • Damage from acts of God — including lightning, flooding, or power surges.
  • Unauthorised changes to the hardware, firmware, or wiring.

How to make a claim

Contact us on WhatsApp or through our Contact page with your order details and a short description of the issue. We arrange an inspection and repair or replace the affected item as quickly as possible.

Extended cover

Longer extended-warranty and service-plan options are available for most kits. Ask us if you would like to add extended cover to your system.
